The Parish of Our Lady and All Saints Parbold
Our Lady and All Saints Church viewed from our school grounds
We are very fortunate to be situated in extremely close proximity to our beautiful church - Our Lady and All Saints, Parbold. The path that leads to church from our school grounds provides us with very safe and quick access. We make the most of this by taking the opportunity to visit church often. Fr. Daley, our parish priest visits us in school regularly too. Classes 2, 3 and 4 take turns to attend Mass on a Thursday morning. When we are in school on a holy day, such as Ash Wednesday, the whole school is able to attend Mass. We have also often used the church as the perfect setting to share our Easter and Christmas reflections with our families and parish community.
Classes sometimes visit individually to support their learning in RE. For example, to look at the Font and Easter candle when learning about Baptism, or to visit the stations of the cross during Lent.
